In 2007 New England Revolution got its first major victory in the U.S Open Cup. The following year, the team won the 2008 North American SuperLiga. Moreover, the squad also won its first Supporters' Shield in 2021. The wordmark in black and blue was positioned in two levels beneath the insignia, with the "New England" component in black capitals in an elegant serif font located above the modern and bold "Revolution" in custom sans-serif, written in blue in the same crayon-style as the red stripes of the flag.
