Montreal finished sixth in the Eastern Conference in 2012, with a record of 12 wins, 16 defeats, and 6 ties. The club unveiled a new logo and name on January 14, 2021. It is now known as "Club de Foot Montréal" or "CF Montréal" Moreover, the original shield emblem has been replaced by a new circular design. The logo features a blue border depicting the rivers that surround Montreal, as well as a snowflake made out of arrows inspired by the Montreal Metro and four Ms that form the snowflake's center. The team's motto, "Tous Pour Gagner" which means "All for Victory" is inscribed at the top of the shield. The Impact debuted a new motto "passion" in 2020.
