The Colorado Avalanche has two Stanley Cup titles which they won in 1996 and 2001. The team was based in Quebec, Canada. It was known as Quebec Nordiques (French for "Northerners"). The Joe Bosack Graphic Design Co developed the logo for the rebranding hockey team, which included a bold burgundy letter "A" stylized as a mountain peak, with smooth white and blue lines surrounding it to signify snow and ice. The team's slogan is 'Be The Thunder.'
