Decoration Process of Mirror Imprint

During the decoration process for mirror imprint, a layer of white is used behind the color to ensure consistency and vibrancy across all glassware products. When printing on glassware items, the white backing shows through on the inside of the vessel. This white colored canvas is perfect to highlight your branding and other design objects like a hidden message or the same image.
In mirror imprinting, the first process is to print the image facing inward. Then a layer of white is imprinted on top, followed by the imaged printed again on top facing outward.

Step 1

At first, your artwork or business logo is printed in reverse, looking at the glass from the unprinted side all the way to the printed side.

Step 2

The white is printed all over the design. This image is now looking at the glass from the side it was printed on. It is important to understand over here that the outline will not show on your artwork. This was placed here only for the purpose of this diagram.

Step 3

Next, your dedicated artwork or business logo is printed all over the white. Hence completing a three step-process for mirror imprinting.

What Is The Cost?

The cost of mirror imprint depends on the different imprint locations. Setup charges may apply. The mirror effect on the mirror imprint demands a second color to be printed behind the mirror ink to display the effect. Thus any item that uses the mirror-like effect will be required to print at least two colors. For more understanding refer to the image.
