Deboss and screen printing are two processes the really elevate the look of your drinkware and make it go from ordinary to extra-ordinary.
Screen printing uses woven-mesh stencil(screen) that allows the printing inks to be pressed on drinkware products like water bottles, mugs and glass through a sharp-edged image. Whereas in deboss printing, your corporate logo is depressed on the drinkware’s surface using heat and a metal die. Both methods are different to one another but the similarity is that they both deliver an exceptional end product, perfect for marketing your brand.

The Steps of Screen Printing Your Drinkware

Screen printing simply gives you the opportunity to showcase and market your brand or business effectively through your drinkware item. This cost effective method does not have any color restrictions and so allows you to make your brand/business stand out. The process is pretty simple too. Here is how it’s done.

Firstly, you’ve got to create a screen which will act as the stencil for the print. For that you will:

Step 1 – Coat a blank screen with photo emulsion evenly on both sides.

Step 2 – Next you’ll print your image on a transparency paper.

Step 3 – once the printing is done you’ll burn the screen using UV light.

Step 4 – After 45-50 minutes rinse your screen with cold water.

The screen/film is now ready. The steps you’ll follow after your screen is ready are:

Step 1 – You’ll place your screen in the screen print machine.

Step 2 – Put the drinkware of your choice into the screen printing machine.

Step 3 – Next you put the ink onto the top of the screen (film).

Step 4 – The machine then does its thing and prints the ink onto your drinkware.

Step 5 – The drinkware is then cooled before curing it via UV light or heat.

The Steps of Debossing Your Drinkware

Debossing on the other hand is a way different decoration method than screen printing, but the result it delivers is eye-catching and again allows you to market your brand or business effectively through your drinkware item. It adds that simplistic finesse, making your end product look sophisticated and attractive. Here is how it’s done.

Firstly, you’ve got to create a die which will actually deboss your design. For that you will:

Step 1 – Coat a blank screen with photo emulsion evenly on both sides.

Step 2 – Next you’ll print your image on a transparency paper.

Step 3 – once the printing is done you’ll burn the screen using UV light.
