Auburn has two national championships (1957 and 2010), 12 conference championships, ten division crowns, and three Heisman Trophies. The institution chose a new primary logo for its sporting program in 1971. An enormous "A" could be seen in the foreground, and a "U" could be seen behind it. There was nothing more on the logo but the initials. Following athletic victories, spectators make their way to Toomer's Corner to roll the oak trees, as is customary. War Eagle is the battle cry, scream, or motto of Auburn University and its followers.
