• The t-shirt should be free from wrinkles.

• Measure each part twice to make sure accurate measurement.

• Take the measurement to the closest 1/4 inch. Specific measurements are not necessary, but keep in mind that lying flat measures are generally doubled (e.g., a 12.5" chest is actually a 25" chest), so even an 1/4 inch discrepancy can be significant.
