  • Take all the measurements by laying your cardigans on a flat surface like a board.
  • Don’t stretch any part of the cardigans while taking measurements.
  • The cardigans should be free from wrinkles.
  • Measure each part twice to make sure accurate measurement.
  • Take the measurement to the closest 1/4 inch. Specific measurements are not necessary, but keep in mind that lying flat measures are generally doubled (e.g., a 12.5" chest is actually a 25" chest), so even an ¼ inch discrepancy can be significant.

Chest – Measure your chest with a measuring tape from one side of the cardigans to the other one inch below the armhole.
