The Virginia Tech Hokies are the college athletic teams that represent Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). They have never won an NCAA championship, although the program's individual athletes have won 18 individual national titles in track and field and wrestling. They claimed to have won 11 conference championships and six division championships. The current athletic logo (since 1983) features the letters "V" and "T" in maroon with white and burnt orange trim. The letters are arranged adjacent to one other, with their ends blending into one another. The Highty-Tighties lead the way for the players, coaches, dance team, and cheerleaders in a trek to the stadium outside the athletic facility two hours before game time. And the team's rallying cry is Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).
