Don Shula, the most successful head coach in professional football history in terms of total games won, coached the Dolphins for the most of their early career. Only twice in Shula's 26 seasons as head coach did the Dolphins finish with a losing record. Furthermore, they were the first club in NFL history to win their division and enter the playoffs after a league-worst 1-15 season in 2008. The emblem for the team is a teal dolphin in the middle of a bright sun. The brilliant sun represents Florida, while the teal dolphin represents the beaches near Miami and the vast range of wildlife found in the Atlantic. The Miami Dolphins' new tagline is "takes no talent" and the abbreviation T.N.T. is etched in extra-large letters in Dolphins colors on a far wall on the southeast side of the practice grounds.
