Grand Canyon Antelopes - PMS Code, Hex, RGB, CMYK Code

The Grand Canyon Antelopes (also known as the Lopes) is one of Grand Canyon University's 21 athletic teams. Their combined record is 18-8, and they have won three NAIA national championships (1975, 1978, 1988). Only the old sports department emblems reflect Antelope's nickname. The color palette of the university has been completely recreated: purple, white, and black. A silhouette of a running antelope is circled in two lines in the center of the composition. The stylized inscription "' Lopes" on the left is difficult to read due to the specific font. In 2013-2014, black became much less prevalent. Although the drawing style has not changed, the animal figure conveys more dynamics. The team's nickname has been scaled down and given a new legible font. In 2015, the final version of the logo was unveiled. The designers deviated from the previous concept this time, depicting the abbreviated name Grand Canyon University rather than a sports mascot. The purple letters "GCU" are shaped like a mini-arch.
