Middle Tennessee State University's men's and women's athletic teams are known as the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. MT has won two NCAA team national championships: golf (1965) and men's tennis doubles (2007). Furthermore, they have won the Conference tournament title seven times and the Conference regular season title ten times. The current logo consists of only two letters, "M" and "T." The letters were glued together, with the "T" slightly lower than the "M." Both were designed with an extra-bold square serif typeface, bright blue bodies, and a double white and black outline. This bright and clean badge complements the team's uniform and conveys professionalism and stability.
