Basketball Jersey Logo Number Placement Guidelines

  1. On the top left, 2” from the neckline, a league logo/US flag/ sponsor logo can be placed.
  2. A single manufacturer's logo/trademark/reference must be placed on the top right side of the jersey. The logo cannot be larger than 2 1/4 sq. inch.
  3. The team name, city name or abbreviations can be displayed on the front. The lettering must be placed horizontally and can be printed in an arch as well.
  4. The jersey should contain player numbers on the front. The size of numerics should be at least 4”.
  5. Player’s name should be placed at the back, over the player number.
  6. Player numbers are also displayed at the back. The size should be minimum of 8”. The number on both front and backside must be same style and color.
  7. Commemorative/Memorial patches are allowed. They should not exceed the size of 4 sq. inches and put on the left side above the league logo/US flag/ sponsor logo.

Basketball Shorts Logo Number Placement Guidelines

  1. The team's initials, mascot, or logo can also b e placed on the right side at thigh region of the seam.
  2. The basketball shorts must contain at least one manufacturer's logo that fits within a four-sided geometrical shape with an area no larger than 2¼ sq. inches. It should be placed on the left side at thigh region of the seam.
