How to Measure Varsity Apparel

Chest: Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest.

Body Length: Measured from high point shoulder to finished hem at back.

Shoulder Width: The shoulder is measured from the base of the neck to the tip of the shoulder.

Sleeve Length: Start at center of neck and measure down the shoulder, down sleeve to hem.

Waist: Measure around the smallest part of the natural waist.

Sleeve Length: Start at center of neck and measure down the shoulder, down sleeve to hem.

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest.

Body Length: The body length is measured from neck seam to the bottom of the T-shirt.

Long Sleeve Length: The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the wrist.

Short Sleeve Length: The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the bottom edge of the sleeve opening.

Armhole: The armhole is measured exactly around the arm at the shoulder joint to the armpit.

Shoulder: The shoulder is measured from the base of the neck to the tip of the shoulder.

Collar Width: The collar width is measured from the collar seam to the outer edge of the collar.

Pocket: Placed "X" down from high point of shoulder, "Y" to right of center.

Sleeve Hem: The edges of a T-shirt is finished with a hem, which is turned inside out and stitch line should straight.

Bottom Hem: Hem is to give not only a neat finish but also to provide weight at the lower edge so that the T-shirt hangs well.
