Youth Clothing Size Charts

ApparelnBags presents you the Youth’s Size Guide. This guide will not only provide you the size chart for your kid’s clothing measurements but will also tell you the correct way to measure their shirts, pants and more. We can’t stress enough the importance of knowing the right way to measure for the clothing you are planning to purchase.

Following size charts are considered as “Regular Fit” size charts. If you are looking for a loose fit, please add up a size. Measure down if you are planning to buy a slim fit. Also, refer to each brand size chart specs as they may vary based on their target market.

How To Measure T-Shirt

Don't stretch any part of the T-shirt - It must be free from wrinkles - Don't use fabric covered surfaces - Surface must be as flat as board

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest.

Body Length: The body length is measured from neck seam to the bottom of the T-shirt.

Long Sleeve Length: The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the wrist.

Short Sleeve Length: The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the bottom edge of the sleeve opening.

Armhole: The armhole is measured exactly around the arm at the shoulder joint to the armpit.

Shoulder: The shoulder is measured from the base of the neck to the tip of the shoulder.

How To Measure Polo / Sport Shirt

Don't stretch any part of the Polo shirt - It must be free from wrinkles - Don't use fabric covered surfaces - Surface must be as flat as board

Choose a Polo shirt in which you are comfortable and that fits you well and then take measurements as we explained below in the chart:

Full Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest

Front Length: The body length is measured from neck seam to the bottom of the shirt.

Sleeve Length: The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the bottom edge of sleeve opening.

Full Waist: The waist is measured around the fullest part of waist.

Sleeve Opening: The sleeve opening is measured along the open edge.

Sleeve Across (armhole): The armhole is measured exactly around the arm at the shoulder joint to the armpit.

Shoulder Width: The shoulder is measured from right joint to the left joint.

Neck Opening: The neck opening is measured around the neck below the Adam's apple.

Collar Width: The collar width is measured from the collar seam to the outer edge of the collar.

Pocket: Placed "X" down from high point of shoulder, "Y" to right of center.

Sleeve Hem: The edges of a Polo shirt are finished with a hem, which is turned inside out and stitch line should straight.

Bottom Hem: Hem is to give not only a neat finish but also to provide weight at the lower edge so that the shirt hangs well.
