Sheffield United Football Club is an English professional football club based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. It is one of only five teams in English football history to have won all four professional divisions. The club also won the FA Cup in 1899, 1902, 1915, and 1925, as well as the First Division in 1898. The initials "SUFC" are placed around the shield in gold on a red background. The Blades reintroduced the popular 1977 logo in 1999. Following a more traditional design based on the council's crest of arms, two crossed blades with the white rose of Yorkshire were finally set in a black shield.
