Idaho State Bengals - PMS Code, Hex, RGB, CMYK Code

Idaho State University's varsity intercollegiate athletic teams are the Idaho State Bengals, based in Pocatello, Idaho. Thirteen athletic teams are sponsored by the university. They won the Tournament championship twice in 1977 and 1987. The logo is a roaring tiger's head with no inscriptions. The drawing is schematic, though the artists attempted to accurately depict the predator's color. The ears, narrowed eyes, and wide-open mouth with sharp fangs give the animal an aggressive appearance. It represents power and strength, as well as teams' constant readiness to fight for victory and leadership. "Roar, Bengals, roar" is the university's official fight song.
