The Georgetown Hoyas are the official intercollegiate athletics teams of Georgetown University, which is located in Washington, D.C. Before 1995, the University athletic program's logo featured their mascot, Jack the Bulldog. The large "G" eventually became the primary logo, with the bulldog remaining as a secondary logo. Whereas, Hoya Saxa, which translates to "What Rocks!" is the official cheer and "college yell" of Georgetown University and its athletic teams. The university has three NCAA Division I team national championships to its credit. They have recently won the Conference tournament championship (2020-21).
