The athletic teams that represent Baylor University are known as the Baylor Bears. Baylor has five NCAA team national championships, having won them in 2004, 2005, 2012, 2019, and 2021. In addition, they have won 123 conference championships, 90 of which have come from the Big 12, and the remaining 33 from the Southwest Conference. The current logo consists of only two letters: "BU" from "Baylor University." They are arranged diagonally and formed into a monogram. Their elements are intertwined to some extent: the left serif "U" is in the lower gap "B." The thin letters have no trim, and triangular notches complement the lines that make them up at the top. The "U" fragment is separated from the rest by the lower "B" gap. “BAYLOR! BEARS! FIGHT! And win all our victories for the Green and Gold!” is the team's slogan.
