Comfort Colors CPSIA Letter of Compliance

This Certificate of Continued Product Compliance is issued by Comfort Colors by Chouinard in response to the requirements of the United States Consumer Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008.

The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act CPSIA of 2008 (HR 4040) was signed into law on August 14, 2008. The act reauthorizes the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for 2010-2014 and expands the Commission's role in ensuring the safety of consumer products, especially those designed for children and up to age 12 years. This law will also allow better enforcement tools to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This legislation will impact the way we develop, test, manufacture and ship our products. Comfort Colors by Chouinard is committed to comply with the required legislation and accordingly intend to meet these requirements. Therefore we have set up appropriate testing procedures and quality controls systems as well as auditing and tracking procedures to ensure compliance with HR 4040,

For the products listed below we certify that we have developed adequate procedures to test and control the quality of products manufactured by Comfort Colors by Chouinard. We certify that products bearing the Comfort Colors label meet the test requirements set out in Comfort Colors by Chouinard Product Safety Testing Requirements as well as the requirements outlined in the CPSIA for the following (as applicable - see below chart for guidance):

We represent and warrant that the goods shipped are fit and safe for the use for which they were manufactured, and that goods or the resale thereof by Comfort Colors by Chouinard or its Distributors of this BLANK APPAREL does not and will not violate any laws, regulations, orders or ordinances of the country of origin or of the United States or any state or any agency or political subdivision thereof, including but not limited to the CPSIA of 2008. The goods are free from defects in material and workmanship and are fit and safe for the use or uses for which they are produced.

We further certify that we have systems in. place to audit and track test results for Comfort Colors products and upon request we will provide the required documentation to support compliance to these requirements.
