With the help of measuring tape, measure the distance of inseam from the crotch area, where the front and back seams connect, point G all the way to the bottom of the leg, point H to the length you wish to wear and cover with shoes or boots.

Half thigh: Button up the pants and lay the garment on the flat surface. Measure from the crotch seam line from point E in the left image to the outside of the leg, point F similar to the waist band.

Outseam/pants length: Button up the pants, and lay the garment out on a flat or smooth surface with outseams at both edges. Ensure that there are no fullness or wrinkles from the back panel. Measure the distance from the upper part of the waist band all the way to the bottom part of the hem.
